Prepare scaled drawings and contract documents for building contractors using Revit. Generate design development ideas. Develop 3D conceptual designs. Research and identify products (finishes, fixtures, etc.) including building materials, lighting fixtures, paint, carpet, and wall coverings. Research codes and other standards as necessary for compliance including Life Safety Code, International Building Code, Fire Code, and local amendments to the codes. Assist in the preparation of studies and reports. Make field visits to document the built conditions. Research the property’s history and prior usage. Organize field data in the proper database. Plan diagrams/layouts during schematic design, demonstrating ability to arrange a unified design including Site plan, building orientation, traffic patterns, and location of utilities. Join team members on occasion for onsite observation of work during C.A. to monitor compliance with plans.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field and 4 years of experience, including:
Revit
AutoCAD
Writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Sketch up and Adobe
Rendering formats: Enscape, V-ray & Lumion
